So Sorry!

Sorry for not writing! I was really busy. Let me put in some info.

I am going to my co-op. It is running smoothly. In violin I have some homework I have to finish up, which is copying all the music terms. In dance we are working on our dance for the end of the year. In choir we are singing the Beatles. And in art we are working on sketching.

I am really busy working on badges for AHG. So far I have to finish my archery badge. I got an archery set for Christmas! I also got a motor scooter which broke and Dad took it to Walmart and exchanged it.

Now I am working on founding a cookie shop. All the profits will go to charities. Well, some of it. The rest will cover costs of the supplies. I am hoping to raise lots of money. I am looking into charities. So far I have St. Jude's and Noah's Ark. Noah's Ark is a shelter for kids and animals in our town. It sounds like a great place.

AHG Camping Trip

I have already written a paper for something else, so I am going to use this one. This paper I wrote for the newsletter.

American Heritage Girls of troop GA2212 had a great camping experience. It all started on April 4th and ended on the 6th. They camped at camp Thunder in little four bunk tents. Everyone arrived, unpacked and then ran to the playground. After playing on the playground for hours, it was dinner time. Filling their bellies with hotdogs, they ate. Then came S’mores! Yummy, yummy!

After that, they played games until 12pm. Some of them sang… spiders; snakes and clowns are all after Gracie! Thanks for the song Katie!

They all went to bed after that. And then came the exciting part! A thunder storm rolled in! Tents flapped and the wind blew hard. Everyone was a little scared. They all made it through the night though and woke up to pancakes.

After breakfast they went to the playground until lunch. Then some of them went hiking, for 5 miles! Up, up and away to the top of the mountains! They weren’t really mountains, just really big hills. A quarter of the way everyone got tired, but, they made it to the top. At the top the saw a water fall! You could see it go down. It was called Moss Falls. The reason why it was called that was because it was covered in moss. They stayed there for a little while and climbed all over the rocks, and then they walked the 2.5 miles back. Brave people!

Then more playing on the playground and then came a dinner of soup. Yum again!

Some people left and some people stayed for the next day.

American Heritage Girl Sleepover

I just came back from my AHG sleepover. We had a lot of fun! When we got there, we put our stuff in the room and then we worked on making mirrors. We had paint and we painted picture frames and instead of pictures we put mirrors! Really fun. Then we ate dinner and watch Veggie Tales, Sweet Pea Beauty. I love that movie. My favorite part is when one of the little peas goes, "I can fit and acorn in my bellybutton!" and then an acorn pops out. Ha Ha! I laughed so hard. Then we played games till 12 pm. We had an American Heritage Girls Idol. And we played telephone. Then we got in bed and fell asleep. And when we woke up this morning we had donuts. Yum. Me and my friend were the first ones up and the last ones to go to bed.

If you are in Girl Scouts, then I would switch. AHG is much better. The badges are Christian. They have Bible Basics and Daughter of the King badges. We have fund raisers, too. And more fun things. You should look up it at www.americanheritagegirls.org

You won't regret it!

First AHG Meeting of the year

Today it was the first meeting of the year of American Heritage Girls ( A.K.A AHG ). It was so much fun. Our troop used to be so small, but now it is so big! I have more than ten girls in my group. And K-Doodle has more than seven girls in her group. And if you are wondering, " What in the world is American Heritage Girls?" then you should know that American Heritage Girls is like Girl Scouts but much better. It is more Christian based then Girl Scouts. I love it! There is badges to earn and fun things to do to earn them. There is camping and feild trips. It is just so much fun!
